For over 35 years, Vermont Panurgy has provided information technology and learning solutions to leading businesses and agencies in Vermont and Northern New England. Through our Learning Center, we provide classroom-format training with a wide variety of course offerings including Microsoft Office applications, data privacy and security, graphics and web, technical (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft 365, CompTIA, etc.), and professional development. Vermont Panurgy also offers convenient Live Distance Learning training options.

Job Summary:

Vermont Panurgy is looking for part-time instructors to join our team to teach the following classes to adult students BOTH on-site in our South Burlington, VT facility or other local sites AND live online (Must be available to do both, not one or the other):

  • Microsoft Office PC applications (i.e., Word, Excel Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Professional Development training (i.e., Delegation Skills, Conflict Management, Effective Office Communication Strategies, etc.)  and
  • Graphics applications (i.e., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Internet applications (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Intro to JavaScript, HTMP Programming, etc.)

Job Requirements:

  • Live teaching BOTH on-site in South Burlington, VT or at local client sites AND remotely
  • Available to accommodate teaching weekday class times, typically 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Have own vehicle and valid driver’s license for on-site classes
  • Have access to reliable and high speed internet
  • Be and remain current and highly knowledgeable on MS PC / Graphics / Internet applications or Professional Development industry standards
  • Teach class(es) assigned to you by following the defined curriculum provided
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to support and motivate students
  • Committed to a culture of diversity, equity, and respect

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong presentation skills with a professional demeanor
  • Experience teaching adult learners in a classroom setting
  • Confidence using a webcam and experience teaching via Zoom or other live streamed platform
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to engage students in a positive and professional manner
  • Instruction experience OR expertise in software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe and/or Professional Development topics
  • Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT) a bonus!

Generous per diem compensation!
No weekends or holidays!
